They banned cameras?? That's insane. Oh well I'm glad I got out of there before someone arrested me on charges of terrorism. For taking photos in a subway. Sheesh.

Yeah, awhile ago they did. At least with southern cross station you can go to the office and grab a 'media pass' means the security there won't hassle you if you wear it (takes about 5min to fill out the form and it last the day) Just so they know you are taking photos for a magazine or your own use, not for blowing it up.

too late for me. lol. funny that they didn't have enough security guards on there in a major station to pull me up for pulling out my camera before I even got to the escalator, let alone when I was putting my camera away. ALL during the Commonwealth Games. lol. makes you think.
