Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Possibly one of the best star trails I've ever seen, without a hint of exaggeration.

I haven't taken the same shot but I've had the same moment. I was the company It was four years ago, we're now married. His shot is here:[link]
(There is a star trail version as well but higher ISO + long exposure noise never agreed with the D200, lol)

have you ever noticed very early in the morning going down the fume, how the fog sits in valleys like water in a lake? It'd be mad if you could capture that.

anyway, nice pic

This may sound 'stalker-ish' but I saw a photograph the other day at a museum of star trails - camera pointed at the north star - and it made me think of you. I was trying to tell the person I was with at that moment about how there's this guy on Deviant who can make star trails 20 times better

This is absolutely awesome! Well worth the effort. Are those lights in the bottom corner Canberra or out near Collector?

bloody freezing. jenna and I went out, and we'd set up a shot, take it, then go back to the car (where the heater was on) for the next half hour till taking the next shot. lol..

What do you reckon the chances of me getting this photo at 1680x1050 are?

as long as you're not planning on selling it/using it in something you'd like to sell, I'd say it's a pretty good chance!

note me your email and I'll send it to you.
