Description
“Magic Winx, Enchantix!”
Now that Neo Enchantix came out, I can finally do the Enchantix re-redesigns for the AU, and here they are!
They take inspiration from both OG Enchantix and Neo Enchantix, and I turned the gloves to sleeves to everyone but Tecna because tbh they look better this way. I always thought the gloves looked kinda out of place in Enchantix to be honest. They all keep a theme regarding their sandals and decoration on their main outfit and top of sleeves/gloves, and I changed their wings to better reflect each girl’s power. Flora’s in green because the full-pink version made her too monochrome, as her green details didn’t pop like Tecna’s do. Bloom’s in grey rather than orange (her color in the AU) because I really wanted one of the girls to wear dark colors as her main in Enchantix, and Bloom was the perfect candidate.
As for its role in the AU, I did change some things. Details below!
In the AU, Enchantix is automatically earnt at age 21, but one can get it earlier by perfoming a significant sacrifice (emotional or otherwise) for someone who means a lot to them. As the girls are actually 16/17 during the events of S3 (as Bloom now enters Alfea at age 15), they all get it earlier than intended.
- Aisha still gets temporally blinded by Valtor, and gives up her chance to heal her eyes inmediately rather than in a few days to save Ligea like in canon, achieving her Enchantix, said earning restoring her eyesight. Her dust bottle is actually in her belt, shaped like a blue raindrop.
- Stella forces her broken scepter to work, using all her magic at once to save her father by a dragon attack caused by a possesed Sky. Her achieving Enchantix fixes and transforms her broken scepter, turning it into the Crosier of the Cosmos. Her dust bottle is in her necklace, shaped like a blue star.
- Musa, after finally reuniting with Galatea, forces her aside from a burning bookcase in Alfea’s library, getting crushed herself. Her earning of Enchantix restores Galatea’s magic, which was previously sealed off by the Trix. Her dust bottle is in her belt, and is shaped like a red semibreve/whole note.
- Flora, like in canon, drowns in the poisoned waters of the Black Willow Lake after saving her sister Miele from drowning herself. Her earning of Enchantix eliminates the pollution. Her dust bottle is in her chest, shaped like a pink flower.
- Tecna gives up her freedom by perfoming the Spell of Closure on the broken Omega Portal near Andros, fully knowing the spell will trap her on Omega itself. Her earning of Enchantix also sends all the fugitive prisoners back to Omega with her. Her dust bottle is in her neck, and it’s shaped like a green triangle.
- Bloom saves Daphne from a sneak attack from the Trix in Pyros, having gone there to help Bloom recover from her loss against Valtor alongside Maia, the Dragon Sorceress. Her earning of Enchantix (it being now a complete version from the start) also heals Maia and her dragon, as they had sustained heavy injuries by the Trix earlier in the fight. Her dust bottle is in her chest and it’s shaped like a pink heart.
