Splinter's pov
everyone was at hotels waiting for a do-over tomorrow. Tiffany insisted on staying with me instead of following tradition. the moment she came in the house, she ran into the bathroom with scissors and came out with her Mohawk. now, late in the evening, Tiffany sat on the windowsill looking at the stars. I walked over to her. "My Dear?"
she looked at me. "your making a mistake."
"pardon?"
"you shouldn't marry me...be around me... I'm a monster."
"you are nothing of the kind. you are special but you can not control that power inside of you."
"I didn't even know it existed."
"everyone has hidden talents."
"this isn't funny."
"I was not making a joke." I wrapped my arms around her. "everyone has darkness with in them. you used yours to save us, save me. Chikara said that it was your emotions in your power that brought me back. that emotion was love. why would I treat you as something you are not if you love me so much?"
"I could have hurt someone."
"that is war, Love. no matter what you can do, you are Tiffany. that is all I see. at the alter, I felt nothing. I thought it was nerves however, it never it went away. then I seen you. I wish I would have followed my stomach. I love you so much, I ignored it."
she wrapped her arms around me. "I was so scared. I thought I lost you. my life was over."
"you would have-"
"no! I would have been alone for the rest of my life because I love you and none other. sometimes... too much... but I hope it never stops."
