At the end of the Bronze Age, one Goddess threatened to destroy all the others and add their power to her own. With many ancient gods already defeated, and civilisation on the brink of total collapse, the remaining gods found themselves facing their doom. To save themselves, and what remained of humanity, they banished The Goddess to a far off future. They then set about erasing any knowledge of her existence, for fear that her priests would find a way to summon her back.

Sadly, in order to deny her return they left future generations with no inkling of the Goddess's avaricious nature. And one day....she will return.
