I know being on the beach during the bitter cold winter is not much fun, but this scene truly radiates a great deal of peace. The quietness of the beach definitely leaves you with the feeling of tranquility. Great capture! And it is always nice to show the beach, even during the middle of the winter!

Yeah, it was soooo cold there and the wind was bitter so we didn't spend a lot of time out there.

Do you live near the beach or were you just visiting. The one thing I hate is that up here the winter time is the time that dogs are allowed on the beach.

We were just visiting, we live a couple hours away. I'm not sure if dogs are allowed on the beach, I think in some places they are because I saw something about having to pick up after them.

OC is very retentive about the dogs on the boardwalk and beach after a certain time. Soon as it's a nice day in the fall/spring we are out there with our dog. She loves it there.

wow, thats crazy how different the water looks there as compared to here, nice shot, it's just wierd, are sand is even a different color!

Yeah it's strange how different the beaches can be in different states as well as around the world. The beach on Cyprus was very odd to me, mostly little pebbles and the ocean was more like a big calm lake.
