While I do enjoy photo manipulating images when I'm initially designing characters, once I've committed to the design, repeating the same process over and over becomes a bit cumbersome... and let's be honest, the details are often sacrificed for expediency and making things fit together. So, I opted to switch to an actual 3D model for my half-kzinti character, Deacon, and as part of that, I decided to try and make some images that were comparable to some of the original photo manips.
