Then it shouldn't disgust you. I can completely understand why you might not agree with it, but if it disgusts you then that is a tad homophobic.
Ethics? There isn't really an ethical issue here. There may have been if the creators and actors are repulsed by the idea, but in many interviews they have simply taken people turning it into slash as a compliment.
I am not going to call you anything back, because that is not my nature. I am not trying to turn this into an insult fight, i would rather have a reasonable discussion about the matter because i am interested in hearing your views, but not when you express them in the way you have been. I am an open minded person and i can accept that people don't like this kinda thing but i don't see why you have to start an arguement. Just because i don't like.. i don't know The Pigeon Detectives' music doesn't mean i go on their youtube vids or find pics of them and leave comments saying how i don't like them.

I'm not homophobic. I have mates that are gay and lesbian. Not scared of them.
I have a fault of being very narrow minded when it comes to my opinions. People try and talk me out of such topics that i feel really strongly about, for example- legalising abortions or that global warming is real, and yet another topic of the whole 'slashing' aspect. I hate it so much how people watch a show or like a band and about a week after its release or maybe even longer and the next moment i come onto the internet and everyone is fantisising about them being together!
I'd like to hear your views aswell, but I can't continue what I want to write at the moment because I need to be somewhere. Sorry if i sounded childish or offended you!
