So many fun expressions and personalities!
Minato and Kushina look soooo cute! I love Minato's messy, fluffy hair. His smile and his eyes have a really warm, happy and unique look -- there's a glint of life in his expression that really grabs me. I think Kushina is way cute, too -- she's the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero, but with Minato she's melted into an almost shy, adorable mess of being in love. I love the warm way she looks at him and the big smile she has for him. So cute!
The blue-haired girl is cute! I love the shapes of her hair, and I love her quiet but bright expression. She looks calm, but her eyes are so bright, piercing and alive. I love her small smile, too.
The green guy is fun! He has a fun smile, and he feels like he just pulled himself up from out of the water and plopped his arms down on the edge of the shore to playfully flash his smile at someone. Love the way you shade -- I love how those little hatches/dashes break into the darker tones, to make for a kinda active transition between light and dark.
My favorite of these sketches is the long-haired guy holding the frog. Wow! He is awesome. I LOVE his expression -- his eyes are so bright, so warm and friendly; very lively. His smile is a winning one; again, very warm and friendly and kind. And for some reason it really works altogether with the shape of his face and his nose and eyes. The features are well-placed, not crowding his face -- his face looks well balanced.
His figure looks great, too. He looks handsome and well-toned, but very casual and relaxed. I like that he's holding a frog -- it gives him something interesting to do, and the frog is so cute hanging out of his grip. XD
I really love the coloring and shading on him. I'm not sure if the lighter spots in the darker areas of his arms are markings, but they kinda gave me the impression that he's out in a forest or something, having just picked up the frog from the river, and the light breaking through the trees is hitting him in that kinda stippled way. The way the white hatchmarks breakup the bottom of his sketch also gives me the impression of that kinda broken up light, too. Which I love; it gives me a feel that he's got some connection and affinity for nature.
Awesome sketches! : )
