Just a question of the right technique and practice! And if you mastered this kind of lift you can looking forward to face the most mean thing which mankind ever designed to pull skiers up: the french detachabel surface lift! You go to the starting point, graps the pole wich is awaiting there for you and place the disc at the end between your legs. But hurry up, you have just a few seconds till the pole connects to the cable! When this happens, the pole (and you) will be acclerated immediately from zero to max speed of the lift. Which is faster than a T-bar! It's not uncommon that you will be ejected to air for a short time! A catapult start as we passionate skiers says.
