This picture is now available as a print Continuing my series of baby dinosaurs, here's a Brontosaurus for my little sister, ratscout .
I was originally making a gigantic sunflower to sit behind the little fellow, but then I remembered that -hey! Flowers didn't exist back then! >:-C
I probably should have made that flower anyway. Haha. It's not like the bronto himself is accurate at all.
My sister's favorite color is purple, but I obviously couldn't make him that color. Little Foot already stole it. So, she wanted me to make it pink. But, that's also too close to purple. SO! I just made the belly pink.
I should probably find a good dinosaur group to submit these to. The last one I joined started rejecting my stuff because they were too cartoony. Stuffy elitist bastards. Dinosaurs are super serious business and should only be drawn in a super serious manner.
I still have five more babies to finish in my file. Saving my favorite for last.

Well that's too bad. Brontosaurus hasn't been the correct name for over 120 years, though of course, only us dinosaur nerds know it. Brontosaurus is today a synonym of Apatosaurus and should never ever be used.

I only drew the favorites of each of my family members, and sadly Therizinosaurus was not one of them. ;_;

he's so tiny and frail-looking... yet he (she?) will become a behemoth in a while!
a bit like calves... EXTREME calves 
and yet they remain docile hervivores... not to be underestimated becouse of that of course.
