Drawn and colored between studying for finals. It's gonna be brutal!I hope that planet looks familiar to you guys. Earth takes a long time to draw. Especially when it's upside-down. Hehe. (Or is Hieros upside down? I dunno. I guess it doesn't matter because there's no direction in space.)
What's he doing out there in orbit? Well, probably trying to remember where his human girlfriend lives. For an alien like him, finding one house on an unfamiliar planet might be a bit difficult.
*ahem* Some of the more astute of you might have noticed Hieros looks a lot different. Well, the simple truth is that I was holding on to the old design just because I was afraid to change it. But, the other day I final got up the guts and after eight-hundred drawings I came up with one I liked.
The old design was complimentary to the old story behind Hieros, but when I changed the story, it didn't match anymore. So! Here's the final version. Hopefully I won't have to change him again.
Enjoy the Silence is a 1990 song by Depeche Mode. It kinda became my theme for this picture somehow. It's great working music!

I love this pic.I love the way he looks out of space(funny cos he's really in space).He looks a bit absent-minded and like he's thinking about something that isn't really important but he still wel thinks over it.The colors again are great,especially the lights.

I don't know the context of the character but I love the image all the same. I like the story behind it as well.

well, I think it's ok...but I loved a lot more the old desing...with this it looks like he's another different person!

I suppose if you can find the time to draw a picture between studying, then I can find the time to comment on it. Yep, 4:48 am on a Sunday; you see what school has done to my schedule? Anyway, I felt this picture needed commenting because I was a bit shocked when I saw its thumbnail; I was like, "Is Hieros wearing a space suit? Hey, is that a nose?" Indeed, that's what I saw. I admire that you were courageous enough to change your main character rather significantly; I couldn't do it. I tried to once with Willy, and then I felt awful.
I'm probably more shaken up about this change than you are, actually. I'm not saying I don't like the new design, because I think it's really great; it seems to correlate more with the warmth of his character than his more robotic features seemed to allow (If I recall, Hieros once looked even more robotic before then). I'll just need some time to get used to seeing him like this. This does bring up the question, though, of whether or not the other Shiee-Gaoys will experience a makeover as well. I guess we'll see.

He was indeed a pure robot at one point. I guess I should've realize he should be organic sooner. Haha.
The other Shiee-Gaoy will be redesigned, of course! Danny's already pretty much done. He already looked like he was wearing clothes anyway. huhu.

Depeche Mode are my all-time favourite band. 
This is very nicely drawn. I like the composition, and the sense of enormity of Hieros' challenge to find his girlfriend is wonderfull.
