I just read that whole comic tonight.... I cried through the whole thing. Seriously. But, I live in Florida, so super rain storms aren't uncommon.
Amazing, amazing story. you should publish this as a graphic novel, because I'd love to own it as a book.

I don't see why anyone would have an issue with you mentioning Will's religion. He's a character in a comic and it's your character, so you can do what you want with him. It's not offensive at all.

You didn't offend anyone with religion.
Some people use religion to offend other people. Having a religion doesn't (and shouldn't) offend anyone!

Yeah! For as long as there's stories, there WILL be somebody who's offended by SOMETHING in them, and that's okay. If an author tries to please everybody, then he is catering to the lowest common denominator.

Of course I say this, and at the same time there are stories that DO offend me, and I'm not going to read them. But I can't and won't force an author to write against his own conscience. Hooray for freedom of speech!

If people are offended at the mention of Will's faith, don't worry about it, it's not your fault. It's your comic, do what you like.

Considering the time period, it fits well. Excellent work.

True words you speak It annoys me when a certain group is always so worried or offended by other groups, but those groups are never worried or offended by THAT group. Idjets...that's why in my novel there is no religion and everyone gets along swimmingly as a result.

Poor Will, I just want to scoop him up and give him a hug in that first panel.

It's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, why worry about what other people think when it's your comic. If they have a problem with Christianity, then that's their problem.
