Ofc. Ryan and Cutcher were on patrol together on 3rd shift and were always close friends ever since grade school but with that always getting into trouble. While eater dinner behind a wawa and watching a movie on Cutcher's phone they got ambushed with a gas canister at their feet emitting a purple smoke. Confused the two look for who threw it and saw nobody, kicking it to the curb but had already inhaled some. Ryan radios in that their out of service with an issue. Dispatch acknowledged them and is awaiting their in service. Ryan looks over to Cutcher on all fours panting with his tongue elongated Ryan rushs to aid him but trips catching himself on the hood of the squad car. Feeling his chest building pressure against his vest, he looks to his lartner as Cutcher's face elongates to a black snout. A tail slips out above his duty belt pushing his pants down, as he whines watching his hands turn to paws. Looking up to Ryan leaned over him with a tired panicked beautiful new face, hair growing over his shoulder and dainty feminine hands reaching out to him. Cutcher wanting to help his partner is only able to let out bark after bark as his uniform fell off piece by piece. Until he was fully exposed. Ryan watching in horror to the sight of his childhood friends new form a grown german shepard looking up whining at him as he was unaware of his own transformation.

Days later...
Ofc. Ryan adjusting to life as a woman adopting her bestfriend in her new position as a police K9. The two coming to terms with what happened still clueless as to what the gas was.
