Quite a mesmerizing scene The fear of the man on the right is obvious, while the man on the left is apparently preparing himself for his fate. We take for granted the frredom we enjoy in the west, but here we have a case of repressive society and its results for these wo young men. I hope they found peace before they stepped into darkness of eternal sleep.

this brings up a lot of emotion for me. i'm from california, where they just re-banned gay marriage. i was out there on election day campaigning against prop 8, i went to rallies, i donated as much as i could. i cried so hard the day after election day. to hear that these things happen makes me so angry and disappointed in people.

It's a very beautiful piece, but I do need to clarify about those two guys who were hung.
It's speculation that Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni were hung for being gay, but it was about a possible rape case involving another 13-year-old boy, there was no evidence that their acts were consensual. The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission agreed that this wasn't a "gay issue." The issue more pressed in that case was execution of minors which violates international human rights laws.

It's jealousy of other people's love that brings out the worst in so many misguided souls... It's ironic that in a country and culture which idolizes martyrs, they have executed two people for love, thus making them into martyrs of love...

It's so sad that something like that happened, it's just plain horrible...
People who have those views are disgusting, and, maybe, even, should be the ones hanged... But that's me with my slightly more violent views, although shits like that diserve it...
