Rendered with a sense of classic mastery, it's almost difficult to discern the form used to make it. It's very lifelike, although, in that respect, something that may not by entirely human. The detail is remarkable enough to be just about convincingly realistic.

You want to slip into a state of relaxed observation when you begin to look at this work because of the soft and neutral colors, then the defined sketch lines force you to focus and look closer at the image.
Not to mention that the form is great.
