Mission Prompt:  Mission 3 | Thunder In a Flash!,The Current State of AffairsA new day dawns on Tremel and with, a tense air can be felt. In and around Kora City, the residents know something is wrong, especially since the Enforcers all look quite worried about... something. Meanwhile, far away, among bluffs that look over the walled city, an organized camp of Pokemon assembles at the edge of one of these bluffs, standing before their leader who speaks to them from atop a boulder.,,,Mako: Outlaws and all others joining us here today. We have a goal, and it may seem dangerous- untenable even! But no goal is outside our reach - why!?,Outlaws: We're Blue-Spirits!,Mako: And Blue-Spirits never falter! We stick together and succeed together!,Mako: Now, one would think Kora City is an impregnable, walled fortress of a city. ,Mako: As we’ve already proven earlier this week, that isn’t the case and thus, we have our ways in. To handle this, we will need a small contingent to take over one of the main gates.,Mako: With that, we’ll have an easy way out of the city once we hit our main target - the main Archives of the Emerald Enforcers. Daunting but with the scouting we’ve done, we’ve narrowed the entrance to somewhere in and around their main compound.,Mako: Do your best to find it, gain access, and take what you can - especially the recent additions given to them by the Trade Guild. Those are a priority.,Mako: Grab them and get out. To help with evading any Enforcers, Merlin has used everything everyone has gathered to create these.,Merlin: I call them the Flashy Uproar.,Mako: …,Mako: We’ll call’em Thunderpops. They sound like thunder and flash like it too. Use them to stun the Enforcers and Guildies if any are around.,Merlin: Hmph, fine and be careful, they can fail and not go off or have a delayed bang. Don’t depend on them too much.Mako: Alright everyone, let’s move out.,Within the Emerald Enforcers Compound, the tense air was also heavy. Word had spread, and fast, about the fact the Blue-Spirits are targeting their home. Some itch for a fight while others wonder what exactly will they do? Guidance is needed and luckily, the leaders of the guild assembled them all exactly for this in their speaking hall.,Sullivan: Listen up Enforcers. Right now, we have quite the threat at our doorstep. Kora City is under threat, so is our headquarters.,Sullivan: With this in mind, our current strategy…A door slams open in the background and running up on the stage is a familiar Weavile to all Enforcers attending. She was panting but had a look of pure determination.,Kalina: I… I… I made it…. Hah… hah…,Nora: Kalina. You look terrible.,Kalina: I ran across the whole city once we got to the gate. And before you ask, everyone who was with me is getting a day of leave after everything in Ruin Town.,Sullivan: Well. We have a plan drawn up.,Kalina: Really? Excellent, I’ll trust you two with whatever you have! I’ll just give them a speech to pep them up!Sullivan and Nora give each other a look and simply nod. While they’d argue against it, they both knew morale was important and what Kalina was best at - setting everyone on fire... metaphorically speaking of course.,Kalina: Alright Enforcer’s, what the Blue-Spirits have planned is a personal slight against each and every one of us! They expect us to just let them do as they please in Kora City and our headquarters!,Kalina: That’s not happening, not on my watch nor anyone else's because we’re all Emerald’s Enforcers. Emerald founded this guild to defend Kora City and all the vulnerable living within its walls! We won’t let whatever they have planned pass!,Kalina: Isn’t that right Enforcers!? We’ve all been through worse through the years!,Enforcers: YEAH!,Kalina: Will we take them all down!?,Enforcers: YEAHHH!Kalina flashes a toothy smile to her compatriots. Sullivan is as pokerfaced as ever but Nora has the faintest of smiles.,Kalina: Shine on you two, let’s hear what you both came up with.,Sullivan: Thank you Kalina.,Sullivan: Now that you are all… suitably energetic about the defense of Kora City, let me detail what we have in mind. Each of the main gates of the city needs a larger number of Enforcers than the usual to dissuade the Blue-Spirits.,Sullivan: A dangerous task because one can be overrun but a crucial one. Every minute or hour you hold back these Outlaws, the less time they have to cause harm before reinforcements from Sage Lakes get here.,Sullivan: Additionally, we will need many here to defend the headquarters and the streets around it. It’s clear that Kora City is a target because of our latest endeavors. Their primary goal then is to infiltrate our center and tear it apart.,Nora: Finally, a select number of teams will be put on duty guarding the Archives from the interior. A most crucial task, do not let anything within be taken- however possible. We can rebuild the building, but not what is stored within.,Nora: We will also have some of the Trade Guild as backup, but they are primarily defending their own, as expected of Lexi. Those of you who are here now despite whatever orders she gave; you shall receive honors from us for doing this.,Kalina: Now that everything is established, let’s get to it Enforcer's!,Across Kora City, in a building that stands apart the rest around it in height and aesthetic, an assembly of Trade Guild members is meeting in a large conference hall on the first floor. At the front stood Lexi, the local administrator for the Trade Guild.,Lexi: Members of the Trade Guild, we’ve got a situation on our hands. The city is coming under direct purview by the Blue-Spirits. Naturally, this means that we’ll have to coordinate as best we can. We’ve a lot to defend.,Lexi: This does mean a further delay going home for all those based in Fairfort. So long as I am in charge, you are staying here.Out of nowhere, a bowl of water quickly rolls into frame. Lexi has no time to even stop the Wishiwashi within before she scoots in front of Lexi.,Captain Kipper: Hey, ya’ louts! I need to say some’in real quick!,Lexi: What are you doing!? Don’t you dare interrupt-,Captain Kipper: Pipe down ya’ overgrown fly an’ don’t pull rank too! I outrank you by leagues.,Lexi: ...Captain Kipper: I chased off the Wayfarers wanderin’ the Grand Ocean an’ I thought that was tha’ but come ta’ find out, they’ve set sail for the Courier’s!,Lexi: So what, you think they’re heading to Fairfort to wreck the place? The main fleet is stationed there.,Captain Kipper: No, they’re not heading there but somewhere else. Only other place would be… Port Luna.,Lexi: Yes and the point?,Captain Kipper: Rene’s personal vessel is making its way there too! Likely wanted some good brunch there.,Captain Kipper: Tha’ means he’s going to be caught and dragged off like a tied up Veluza! Some Tradies need to be there now!,Lexi: And how do you suppose we do that?,Captain Kipper: Mages ya’ silly bug! They can send a few over to help ‘im out!,Lexi: Why didn’t you go and help Rene exactly?,Captain Kipper: The rest o’ my crew is busy keeping tha’ waters around Fairfort safe since the Wayfarers are turnin’ ta’ piracy. Can’t take them all alone but I’ll certainly meet whoever gets there in record time.,Lexi: …fine. Whoever wants to go is allowed but not all of you. Your duties here in Kora are not something you can simply Sneasel out of.,Aboard a number of vessels crossing the Grand Ocean, making great time toward Port Luna, were the Wayfarers lead by Jerrin as usual. Despite recent setbacks, he seemed... determined.,Jerrin: So you’re certain you saw Rene’s ship still heading toward Port Luna.,Harper: If they were heading anywhere else, they missed their last chance to turn. They’re still headed straight there.,Jerrin: Alright, thank you Harper.,Captain Ramona: So, we chasin’ down that greedy lil’ cat?,Jerrin: For his valuables and for a… talk.,Captain Ramona: Ya’ sure this is wise? I mean, he’s a pushover bu’ I expect him ta’ know how ta’ fight Dark types.,Jerrin: Worry not, he won’t fight if the situation doesn’t allow for it.,Harper: I’ve had the messengers get the word to all ships. Everyone knows their roles: infiltrate Port Luna, find Rene, find his ship, take the artifact, and if need be, take out any Enforcers or Tradies around.,Jerrin: Excellent. We’ll sneak everyone in away from town then trap him in the harbor with a naval blockade.,Captain Ramona: Ya’ lucky it’s a lone ship. If it were two or three, I’d never do it an’ if there were more than that…,Jerrin: Captain Kipper is on alert but she’s defending Fairfort, per her strict orders from Rene. It’s now coming back to bite him and at the worst time too.,Harper: I say it’s time we really make our point stand this time. He continues to ignore us but no more. Not this time.,Jerrin: Exactly. You'll be by my side Harper. I'll leave Dion and Vicky to take care of everything before we make land ourselves. ,Mission InformationMission 3 is here! We apologize for taking a long time between now and Mission 2 to get this started but we have been busy in our lives and did our best to work on this Mission. As before, Prompts have been kept vague to allow Members to get creative with how they tackle each Prompt. If you want a Plusle Outlaw and Minun Enforcer to fight in the background of your entries, go ahead! As before, there are 3 Prompts for this Mission for each Faction to complete. Doing only 1 is required to qualify for Mission rewards, along with the minimum number of works (3 Lined and Colored artworks or Literature of a minimum of 3,000 words) but doing more than 1 can be a net benefit for the Faction you belong to. The more Prompts completed by a Team; the more Points accrued!1 Prompt completed - no bonus Points2 Prompts completed - 25 Bonus Points 3 Prompts completed - 50 Bonus PointsPrompts As the Missions prompts per Faction are more complicated, from now on they will be in separate pages. Click the links below to view them. Blue-Spirit Outlaws - Mission 3Infiltrate the Emerald Enforcers HQ as well as the Trade Guild offices of Kora City - primarily the Enforcers HQ!Use whatever tricks you can to locate the Secure Archives and steal away the main Artifacts and whatever else seems valuable!Escape with the artifact or hand it off to Mako before making your own escape! Make use of the Thunderpops to facilitate this! Emerald Enforcers - Mission 3Defend the Enforcers Compound and Kora City from the Outlaws!Keep Outlaws away from the Secure Archives and keep them from stealing the item as best you can despite the surprise attack and their special item - the Thunderpop!Try to stop any from escaping! Lexin Wayfarers - Mission 3Find Rene and fight what Trade Guild members are present in Port Luna and retrieve the artifact that Rene possesses in his rush to Port Luna. Rene is apparently within one of the many restaurants within the town, but which one is the question...Wreck anything related to the Trade Guild but don't wreck too much of the town outside of that. The enemy is the Trade Guild not the Pokemon of Tremel at large!Escape without capture! Trade Guild - Mission 3 Keep the Kora City offices and buildings safe from attack while helping the Enforcers fight off the Outlaws!Rene is in trouble and needs backup. A few Guild mages can teleport a group to Port Luna to help him out. Rene himself is apparently holed up in one of the cities many restaurants.Keep the Wayfarers from leaving with the artifact and from wrecking anything Trade Guild related within Port Luna.References of the various NPCs mentioned throughout the journals can be found here.Spy PromptsSpies are not forgotten! A recap on what Spies are: Spies are Members and whole Teams who, while part of one Faction, may hold allegiance to another Faction. To give them something to do as well, they have their own Prompt they may complete alongside the other Prompts of their current Faction. Finishing a Spy Prompt means that all Points by the Team will instead go to the Faction their true allegiance is for. In your submission for the Spy Prompt, please denote which Faction your Team sabotaging and their true alignment as well.Lawmon Spies:- Knock down the Blue-Spirits in a flashThe Blue-Spirits are attacking and while dangerous, is an excellent time to take down a number of them unawares. In the heat of the moment, it's quite hard to tell who knocked out who after all. Knock out one or two Outlaws for the Enforcers to take in later, they'll certainly be thankful for it. - Cause more chaos than the Wayfarers intendedWith the Wayfarers making landfall on Port Luna, everything hinges on their assault not causing too much damage to the town at large. Causing extraneous damage to other buildings will certainly sour the view of the Wayfarers better than anything the Trade Guild could say for itself.Outlaw Spies:- Give the Blue-Spirits a helping hand entering the Enforcers CompoundAs the Enforcers are busy dealing with so many Outlaws all at once, it wouldn't be any good if some entrances to the Enforcers Compound were left unlocked and Outlaws were let into more secure areas without a fuss... - Send the Trade Guild members on a wild Swanna chaseWith the sudden appearance of the Wayfarers in Port Luna and the even more sudden appearance of Trade Guildies there as well thanks to magic, it leaves a small opportunity to cause your 'fellow' members of the Guild to scatter apart trying to find Rene in all the wrong places. Misdirect them anywhere but where Rene is!Enforcers CompoundAlong with the Prompts comes a map of the Enforcers HQ Compound which will help both the Blue-Spirits and the Enforcers in their squabble!,Port LunaAdditionally, here is a map of Port Luna - a quaint port town of many restaurants and cafes.,RewardsIn PMD Outlaws, rewards are based on member participation and unique to the four Factions depending on their end result for the Mission. The more members participate in Missions, the more points you earn for your respective Faction. At the end of the Mission, all Points are tallied together for each Faction, and rewards are distributed based on the total number of Points earned. The more Points your Faction earns, the higher reward Tier you'll get, leading to more rewards and some plot-based advantages. The Rewards per Tier for Mission 3 are as follows: Tier 1 - <500 Points 1 Basic Reward, 500 Auran Bonus, Medal Tier 2 - 501 to 1000 Points 2 Basic Rewards, 1000 Auran Bonus, Medal Tier 3 - 1001 Points to 2000 PointsAll Basic Rewards, 2500 Auran Bonus, 1 Special Reward, Medal Tier 4 - >2000 PointsAll Basic Rewards, 5000 Auran Bonus, 2 Special Rewards, Prismatic Medal Important Reminder!- The minimum number of works that must be submitted per team for a Mission is 1 Lined and Colored artwork or Literature of a minimum of 1,000 words! If these requirements are not met, a Member will not be eligible for rewards if on a Solo Team. - On a Collab Team, Members must still meet this requirement as well but can be supplanted with submitted collab works which count towards all Members who worked on it. - All collab works outside Collab Team also have the same effect. - OPTIONAL: Remember to submit your entries to the # entries-and-rewards channel on the Discord or to the comment below the journal. You do not need to submit to both; however, it will help with the distribution of rewards at the end of the event!Remember when uploading works for a Mission to include which Prompt it is for in the description.Mission Ends at 11:59pm PT, May 1st
