Well, there you have it. My first Goliath, my first digital pic, and my first Gargoyles drawing ever. This thing is almost as old as the show itself. I think I drew this in... 1995. Yeah, 1995. See how old it is? Gargoyles was still airing with new episodes, for crying out loud!

I was in the 7th grade and using the computer lab. I fired up HyperStudio (anyone remember that?) and drew this in there in black and white. I printed it out and later scanned it into my computer and colored it in Paintbrush.

Back then... and don't laugh... but back then, this was the best drawing I'd ever made. I went home and started drawing Gargoyles, inspired by this little drawing, and the rest is history.

You can thank (or blame?) this little drawing for every piece of fanart I've done.

So, the next time you're feeling down about your art, just look at this drawing and go... "Wow, she used to draw like that! Maybe there's hope for me!"
