I got my 3DS back in 2013 when Pokémon X and Y came out. It was an amazing little handheld that I instantly fell in love with, and Pokémon X became my most played game of all time at that point, and stayed in first place until Animal Crossing came out on the Switch in 2020. It was such an amazing system with things like Streetpass, which I love. I remember getting 100 Streetpasses in one single day when I went to Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions, and I was so happy because I believed it was impossible. I logged into Pokémon X and saw people in the passerby list as if I was online, but everyone was in the same room as me. I also spent many hours playing Ace Attorney and Mario Kart 7. Then eventually Pokémon Sun and Moon came out a few years later, and those Pokémon games to this day are still my favorites. There's too many memories on my 3DS to list, and I mostly just listed Pokémon games, but it's a game console I love a lot.

The Wii U is another very fun and amazing game console. I got mine for Christmas in 2015 because of Mario Maker and I fell in love with it. I watched Mario Maker videos for 2-3 months religiously before getting my Wii U and logging many hours into it. Then I had Christmas money left over, so I had to get something else. I remember my friends had Splatoon, but I had no clue what it was. I decided to give it a chance, and I fell in love with that game as well. Splatoon on the Wii U was great, and I played all the Splatfests from December 2015 through the final one in 2016. I am very happy being able to remember when Splatoon 1 was just Splatoon, and there was no sequel in sight. I also remember using my Wii U into the Switch era for quite some time. I got a Switch for Christmas 2017, but that didn't mean the Wii U meant any less. I played Smash Bros 4 a lot with my friends in the month leading up to Smash Ultimate and had a lot of fun. Then in 2019, I fell back in love with the Mario Kart franchise. I remembered not liking Mario Kart 8, but I gave it another chance and fell in love all over again. I played a lot of Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U until I was able to purchase Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The fact that the best-selling Switch game of all time is a Wii U game should tell you something about the quality of titles put out on the console.
