So beautiful. The lighting is perfect. And she just brightens up the picture with her cute puppy face!

Thank you. I'm glad that she didn't come out too underexposed with the sun behind her. And I can't get enough of her little face.

She's just too cute! Hahaha, I know! I hate it when the sun decides to work against me when I take photos.

Haha, right? I still have to work on backlit shots. So far I'm good with either sun or no sun, not in the middle.

Same here! I find it impossible to have a good photo in my house. The lighting is horrible!

I got my Sigma 30 1.4 specifically for that and I must say, it's wonderful!

Awesome! If I can, I might get a new camera for inside photos. Mine is just terrible...

What kind of camera did you say you had? I've gotten into SLRs and while it's an expensive hobby, I love what you can do with them.

I have a Nikon Coolpix my dad bought for Christmas. It's good with outdoorsy photos, but inside it's just blegh.

Oh! One of my first P&Ss was a Nikon Coolpix (L1 to be specific). That's the only problem with most P&Ss and cell phone cameras, they are great in a lot of light but suffer in lower light situations.

Yes! It's so frustrating! It actually works okay in an auditorium setting when we use full lights, but inside a normal house... It's just disastrous!

I know the feeling lol. Just know that with an SLR, a wide aperture lens, and possibly an external flash, all of your indoor light problems will vanish!

Aw, good. It's definitely an investment. Bodies are just the start, lenses are where the real expense (and fascination) are. Then comes external flashes, bags, and accessories galore. Although, that's not to say that someone can't take a great picture with a P&S (or cellphone, really). It's definitely the photographer and not the equipment.

I have actually taken really good photos with my phone! It's really random though, and only when my dog was being cooperative.

Where can I buy an SLR? Or, really anything?

Haha, I know what that's like. When I don't have my camera with me, my cell phone is the next best thing.

You can buy them at any electronics store, Walmart, Costco's, etc. Or online, B&H or Adorama Camera. Many, many places to find them.

She looks rather tired there! Was this after all the playing she did?

This was after romping with Coda for at least a good hour in the heat. You got it!
