I have a commission to do Kup from the Transformers series, so I did a sketch to get a feel for how I want him to look in the illustration. I didn’t need to do the truck form but I was having fun so I ran with it

Yeah I had a lot of the G1 Transformers. Man I really wanted Kup and Hotrod but I never got them. I remember a few years ago they did the re-release of the originals with new boxes and they said they were doing Hotrod but I could never find him

Yeah it's a lot of fun to go back and watch those episodes. The later ones are friggen weird LOL Especially the Targetmasters/Headmasters origin episode.

yea.. although it all makes sense, cuz the japanese came out with a new headmaster transformers which i liked alot, it had awesome animation and i always remembered i wanted one of the exo suits so i can have my own transformer.. :3

The animated movie is still the best. I'm kind of sad Judd Nelson didn't make it into the new ones as Hot Rod.
