Description
Ambush Vines is a Paradox Pokemon resembling Venusaur that possesses two powerful vine-like tendrils. When other sources of nutrients become scarce these vines permit the Pokemon to adapt into an opportunistic hunter in a flash. As Ambush Vines lies in wait pretending to be an ordinary flower, the tendrils on its back will snatch prey right out of the air. Even the toughest insect exoskeletons are no match for the sheer crushing power of these tendrils, meaning few meals are truly off-limits to a hungry enough Ambush Vines.I want to go into full detail on all the various things that inspired this, things changing the carrion flower on the back from a Rafflesia to something that resembles Titan arum and making the “Venus” part of the english name much more literal... But if I’m being honest the reason I made this was because I saw a Paradox Venusaur in a dream
