“ Named Die Knöchelbeißer (lit. The Ankles Biter in German) for her short height by the rare who saw her in the act and the rarer who survived, the peasant folktale talking about her were mostly forgotten to time. Being shared orally, as paper or those who could read were non-existent or nobility respectively, it could vary widely.

The most widely known version tells of a drunk on his way to his house. On the way, he meets a short vixen hidden in the shadows. The drunk catcall her, and when she is close enough to the man, he notices that she has 2 pointy fangs. When the vixen is about to sink her fangs into his neck, the man falls and the vixen ends up biting one of his ankles instead.

Historians are unsure of the moral of this folktale. “

Anke ‘Ankles’ Biter, also known as Die Knöchelbeißer, is a German vampire who got turned in the 1500s at 21 and managed to join both the Human nobility and the Vampiric nobility. In 1525, amidst the German Peasants’ War, a vampire hunter (of the StrongFist clan, who fistfight vampires) took the opportunity of the war to try to kill her, but only managed to dethrone her. She had to go into hiding. Having a good relationship with a duchess in Alsace, France, she went to sleep in her coffin and paid to have it delivered there.

But the voyage took way longer than anticipated: the convoy was attacked by highwayman who, unable to open the coffin, sold it to a human countess. She ended up getting killed soon after, and the coffin changed hands again. By coincidence, many who took possession of it tended to die a grisly faith.

Thus believed to be cursed, it was mostly left alone until the 60s, when someone discovered the coffin in their grandma’s attic and managed to sell it to an American occult collector, who stumbled on the legend and couldn’t believe his luck. Upon receiving it, he couldn’t resist opening it to see what lay inside. A hungry Anke devoured him.

Now in America, she got a job at Sabbath Finances, a loan shark business providing mundane and supernatural services. Sabbath Finances deals with 'Bigness' , a magical universal rule stating that the bigger someone is, the more powerful. Such Bigness can be muscles, weight, height, or even just having a big ego, for examples.

Anke's job is to either give or take bigness from a client via biting and drinking their blood, or tracking down a debtor and taking what's overdue... With interest of course!

On the 3 outfit at the bottom, from right to left:

Swimsuit Anke: She love going to the beach and being warm! Sadly the sunlight harms her so she can't feel much of the sun.

Casual Anke: Casual Anke

Work Anke: Anke in her work outfit, eye candy for the nightclub clientele and a nightmare for debtors!
