First of all, this year (2024) marks the 30th anniversary of Gargoyles. Jalapeña, I feel old! So all year I'll be drawing tons of Gargoyles stuff. It's my way of celebrating the greatest animated series of all time. This is the first of my 30th anniversary drawings.

It's another one of my "garg-ified" movie posters. A Gargoyles spoof on the Iron Man poster.

I guess this piece would refer specifically to the episode entitled "The Gathering: Part Two". That's when Oberon attempts to take baby Alex away from the Xanatos' and take him to Avalon. And Alex' entire family, along with the Gargoyles, do everything they can to stop Oberon, including unleashing the Iron Clan robots on him (which turned out to be pretty useless, actually).

And I have to add that I enjoyed drawing Halcyon Renard (the old guy in the center). He has such an interesting character design and it was fun to draw him. I've actually never drawn him until now. I'll have to do more with Renard.
