Skin like faded, cracked leather, they crouch on their perches.Eyes clouded and unseeing, yet so full of sight, they wait.
The three wise ones of old.
For death? No one knows.
I try to question them, but they just squawk at me,
"You will know."
Know what? I beg, I need to know now!
But the tempests turn their wrinkled faces, finished with me.
For what do we wait for, in this cruel, tireless life?
And when will it finally cease to exist?
We plead to know! We beg for an end!
Or perhaps a few precious seconds more!
Alas, they answer not,
But just sit, unseeing, and watch.

Different for you and very original. It does create an atmosphere of those early times. Slightly creepy, but in a good way. Enjoyed the read.

This is good. Good imagegry and oddly enough, it has a faint rhyme to it. (old / knows; not / watch ) But it's just oh so faint.
The only thing I don't like is the questions. You obviously have an intent behind them. Most questions in poetry are rhetorical unless it's emotional poetry or something of the like. Maybe try to work in the meaning behind those questions into the poem itself.
But it's just a suggestion. Otherwise, good stuff
