Copy from my Tumblr blog:"I drew another funny comic book sketch where of course the question is which of the triplets, Huey, Dewey or Louie, since they wear the same color of clothes. I don’t understand people complaining about Donald’s nephews looking the same. I think the point is that they look the same, because they are triplets after all, and in real life you have triplets and twins who look almost the same. Donald’s nephews were modeled on the triplets from the old Happy Hooligans comics. Well, the same goes for Donald’s nephews who mostly wear black shirts and that’s taken from the old comics that were black and white, so it stayed the same as for Donald’s black navy shirt. In this case, since Huey, Dewey, and Louie in this drawing I drew are not wearing hats, Uncle Scrooge (Donald’s uncle) has to recognize which of them is Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Only their Unca Donald knows which of them is the real Huey, Dewey and Louie. Of course, Scrooge doesn’t know, so his head is a little cracked. Poor him!
However this is in response to what he said in a 1989 comic by Don Rosa called “Return to Plain Awful” which is one of the best Don Rosa comics and where Scrooge tells Donald’s nephews that they look alike, which angered Donald’s nephews so this is like their revenge. Joking aside in one Don Rosa comic at the end Scrooge knows who Huey, Dewey and Louie are, even though they don’t wear hats.
This is just a joke and please do not take this seriously. I hope you like this idea and this drawing and don’t worry, there will be more surprises like this. And once again, Happy Birthday Don Rosa!
Of course as well as a belated Happy Birthday Donald Duck and Happy Father’s Day to the worst and best uncles, Donald and Scrooge!"

If someone asks, Donald's birthday can also be counted as Friday the 13th, since that is one of his usual dates, and you know why, because he has bad luck. So happy belated birthday Donald!
