Description
It all started in South America when a logging crew went missing. The Brazillian government investigated but there was no trace of the crew, or any signs of a fire fight. Two weeks later an entire village vanished. Despite this, Brazil wouldn't have answers until the latest season of Survivor stayed true to its theme. Taking place in the Amazon, the castaways soon found themselves face to face with real danger. A massive tree like monster attacked the cast and crew, leaving only one camera man and his footage alive. The Brazillian military was the first to strike, but was completely overmatched. America's military with support from Brazil was the second to strike, but even America's military proved to be of little use. With Brazil's permission America prepared to use a weapon of last resort against the giant beast. However the American base the B-2 was set to fly from came under attack from an Eco-terrorist group called The Children of Laeradr. The CoL claimed that the tree monster was the enraged World Tree who has decided to end man's reign on earth. Distracted by the CoL the US military was unable to strike Laeradr and the beast cut a path of destruction all the way to Rio de Janeiro, however before Laeradr could destroy the city, The Thunderbird appeared. The Thunderbird eventually had to use some of its stored electrical charge to set the world tree on fire. Laeradr retreated to the Amazon, where it was able to use the jungle to keep Thunderbird at bay while it healed. Laeradr has yet to resurface, but the CoL continues to act on its behalf.
