I think this poem fits Musoudramon more than NeoCrimson. NeoCrimson in this story is just a power hungry maniac who does everything FOR THE EVULZ.

I would say his X-form is his strongest form... but actually is as strong as crimson mode, but without time limit, so its the same xDU

Because it needs a lot of power/energy/data to make his armor that hot and red, the crimson mode has a time limit (not an actual time limit, more of "I can't be this long"), otherwise, dukemon could die... is like the burst mode, releases all his power with time limit.

This means as well, that the "red" armor is the white armor dukemon normally has, but because of the heat his digicore produces, it turns red.

Well, actually the anime doesn't reveal much about digimons, and the Bandai Reference Book profiles some times actually contradict things from the anime, sometimes is a bit weird the things they put in the anime xDU

Well, cases like that are different... reference book profiles talk about individuals, and not all the members of that species are the same individual, this means, not all of the Huanglongmon are the "Dragon God" of the digital world, as well that not all of the Lucemons are the leader of the Seven Great Demon Lords...
That being said, i think if in the anime universe of Xros Wars existed the Holy Beasts and the emperor, Huanglongmon wouldn't be like a "god" anymore, because in the anime times, lucemon already should have sealed him away.

I knew that. What I don't get is why Fanglongmon of all Digimon? Any other Dragon Digimon could be more suitable to be the steed. (BlackImperialdramon, Brakedramon, DinoRexmon, etc.) I just think it is such a waste to introduce such an awesome Digimon as nothing more than a lackey.Β

Well, to demonstrate that not all of the members of a species are the individual the profiles talk about, What better than Huanglongmon of all digimon? Is one of the strongest dragon digimon (well, i think xDU), so putting one of his species, as a mere weak servant is actually perfect example.

If they just want to demonstrate something as unimportant as that, why don't they just make the Digimons who are usually portrayed as the good guys the main villains? Make Alphamon the evil mastermind, Dukemon the treacherous second-in command, ShineGreymon the loyalist dumb brute, KaiserGreymon the bloodthirsty warrior, and WarGreymon the first bad guy who gets killed by the protagonists. Alternatively, they can make the Digimons who are usually portrayed as the bad guys the good guys. Oh wait, they already did that with Leviamon.

Nah... I think ZeedMilleniummon is still scarier. That thing can warp time and space. But yeah, NeoCrimson is no pushover either. He has a secret military organization, an army of super soldiers, as well as substitute bodies.
