I have finally returned with a new -Innocence & Corruption- picture!
This one is actually set in the prequel, and it features one of the most important (and nearly completely spoiler-filled) character in the series - Malizar!
I really can't say too much about this boi, without revealing many things for my entire series, so, let's just say... "He's where it all began," and leave it at that. Feel free to speculate what I mean in the comments.
Though I'm still having a difficult time making my pencil works as nice as I used to, I tried my best on this, and am pretty happy with how it turned out.
I can only hope you all enjoy it, too.

My guess is the quote you placed (unless it's from I&C and I'm just forgetting) is him talking to Leo -- and that's where Blarus was born! Split from the Light Tana-Apprentice's inner corruption... (maybe? got me curious though...)

This quote is from the prequel, indeed, but it's a lot simpler than that.
Try thinking of a character from the first book who was 'good' but turned out 'not-so-good'.

Léo and Blarus were actually born on the same day. That'll actually be revealed in the sequel (along with a lot of other important things like their connection - finally).

And yep -- still thinking hard about the Leo/Blarus connection. But, I guess I'll just have to wait for the sequel... (and I look forward to the prequel anyway -- it'll be good to see how "it all started").

Unfortunately, yeah. Poor Tzung's story is a tragic one. TwT
He wasn't all bad, though. But, then, none of the Corrupted really were.
I figured. XD And I'm looking forward to when I'm able to share all the details.
I gave into my sudden urge to go and edit/rewrite parts of the first book, but I'm still determined to finish the prequel by the end of this year. Then will come the third side story, then the sequel, and, finally, the fourth side story. With other short stories and spin-offs, too, of course. X'D
Dunno how long it'll take for it all to be done, but I'm more worried about writing good stories than quick ones.

...Has this guy perhaps taken pages from Xemnas' playbook? Lol But seriously, this is a pretty great piece, and I especially love how you only colored his eyes; they make the pic pop... I guess that's right term for it?

I've been having a hard time actually liking my finished pictures lately (particularly the mostly pencil ones), so it means a lot.
