Description This is a model my boyfriend painted. It's a fallen Chaplain (stat-wise a chaos lord with wings and a pair of lightning claws). The model itself is just a possessed marine with Khorne Berserker shoulder pads. The idea came to him when building a few chaos raptors out of left over bitz. This is what he pictured a Chaplain would look like after selling his soul to the dark gods.

Model, paints, and other things owned by Games Workshop, are indeed, owned by Games Workshop.

Decent enough paintjob, though the conversion leaves me skeptical as to his status as "fallen Chaplain". A skull helmet and Accursed Crozius would have made this believable. Purity seals, scrolls, and other paraphernalia would solidify the link. Hell, with some green stuff work and some Chaos bitz, you could have worked with the jump-Chap model as your base.

WOW! Its awsome and scary as hell! I am sure 90% of the guardsmen would drop dead just seeing this murderous deviant creature of the Warp!

I love this huge bat wings! They make the Fallen Chaplain even more scary!

Really good paintjob in terms of technique and colour usage!
If I had to critisize this, I would say that the paintjob is a bit rough at places, and that the colour on the skulls looks a little rusty rather than bloody.
That is, if I HAD to critisize this. I don't see why I should, because it's an awesome piece!

Thank you for the comment. The inconsistency of the paint probably has to do with the quality of my camera and the fact that I use a desk lamp as a back light. It tends to wash the colors out and add weird streaks to metallics. What I wouldn't give for a real camera and some soft light.

Anyways, thank you for the constructive criticism!

Hah! I feel your pain(t)! It plagues me too. I made a squad of Nightlords not so long ago, and when I took pictures all the shades of blue looked like one colour blue, while I used no less than four for the shading, highlighting and other effects.

No problem!
