Quistis is one of my favorites from FFVIII.

Once again, you don't fail to impress! The simplicity of shading on her face instantly draws your attention to those awesome eyes that ALL of your work has. So pretty!

i dont like to use too much shading..
i think its dirty. *n i'm lazy too
i'd rather keep it simple and clean..

It's easy to get carried away with shading; I'm guilty of it myself. I think you've got the right idea though; simple and clean is very nice.

well, it depends on our satisfaction
i dont use shading mostly on cheek, chin,and forehead..
but parts like hair, lips, eyes, shading is a must..
