Because this design was made inΒ late XV centuryΒ , and its origins are in early XV century in italy o3o

The holy roman empire wasn't exactly roman, they were a Germanic tribe called the franks that although being enemies of the Romans also admired them, so when the western roman empire fell and Rome was sacked, the franks moved into modern France and created the holy roman empire, that later divided into France and Germany, the zone of germany continued to call itself of holy roman empire until it's fall in the 19th century.
The eastern roman empire did survive until the middle ages, it fell only in the 15th century when their capital was sacked by the ottoman Turks.

not everyone who opens his mouth has something to say, nor should you listen to him.
I don't know what to think of the tuto. it's a somehow realistic style, yet you let it so raw and sketchy. You detailed the armor with reflections of woods and city streets yet didn't finish the painting. - I guess you just wanted to show the methode, regardless of the motive, and that's fine, really.
But really it's more of a study than a tutorial, because you didn't show your tools nor how you do it. it's just raw theory. you know what I mean?

To me it seemed quite obvious the methods i was using maybe it was obvious to people familiar with this program etc., i should have tought about everyone, and not just only the way i see stuff. I will keep that in mind next time i make something similar!
and, i focused in that piece of armor just to explain, and it was just indeed a theory of how stuff is refected.
