I wanted to update the look so that it resembles the armor that Darth Vader receives. Of course Palpatine would put his apprentice in ancient, iconic sith armor. Also, this explains why Palpatine would slowly erase the Mandolorian-inspired aesthetic of the clone armor in trade for the storm trooper armor: to make them resemble the original soldiers.Related content
