Description
This photo was taken during the 56th Araw ang Paquibato held at Barangay Pegdalahan, Paquibato District. This group of children were waiting for thier turn to perform for the dance competition for the said festival. This group was composed of Bisayan and Ata-Manobo tribe.Related content

actually the rating was a bit harsh because i think the picture was a result of many many inspirations(or should i say the idea is taken from many similar photographs)... but i didn't want the photographer to get to know this opinion of mine

Just a few words about your critique. First, thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately, too few people take the time to give others feedback. Second, I first read your critique and thought it was accurate, informative and fair. You clearly know about photography which adds value to your critique. But what about the star ratings?? To me there appears to be a discrepancy between the written critique and the start ratings....

1st I want to talk bout' the black and grey. As I love color so much I also love monochrome. This type of of level in monochrome is what I wanted to achieve when taking pictures of kids from rural places.
2nd is the emotions the is showing. The kid who is making a neck piece if I am not mistaken shows the viewer that I am working hard to this face. Haha
I wanted to see the other kid's face though. The one in the lower left. Maybe he might contrast the other kid's emotion. Was he laughing though?

i also love to see the other expression of other children but this is just my shot. i just cropped a bit right side to remove the unwanted object. hehe
