Special Power: Her special attack is a sort of light cannon she can shoot from her hidden eye. It drains her energy when used, so she only uses it when it's completely necessary

Personality: Diopside has the biggest green thumb in the galaxy; she would even put plants and nature above her own wellbeing. She can be a bit snappy with people she doesn't know as well, and maybe just a little less with friends. Even with her snarky attitutde, she's actually more of softer-spoken gem. Diopside is definitely not the type to run around yelling about anything; she only raises her voice when she knows she cannot be heard, or someone made her real mad. *side note: she will attack you if you hurt even the smallest blade of grass.

History: she belonged to Blue Diamond's court until she was sent on a mission to Earth. During her stay, she realized that she cared more about the planet than she thought she would. Seeing the plant life and the different creatures living on the planet entrigued her, but no one else seemed to care. Innocently enough, she stated her concerns to her supervisor, who labled her defective. During this time the war was still going on, and to prevent any more gems to switch sides and join the Crystal Gems, the Diamond Authority ordered for suspicious or oddly behaving gems to be destroyed. Diopside had no other choice but to run away before they were able to shatter her gem. With nothing but a stolen ship, Diopside left Earth and tried to lay low to avoid being found. After awhile, she missed the company of other gems, so she did research on where she could possibly go; she asked around on different planets and looked through the ship's database until she discovered Dolomite's court. Without a second thought, she set a course to the court, and she joined almost immedietaly.
