When I look at this photo, I feel "dilemma". The subject appears to be somehow stuck and is surrounded by vastness. I think the cropping and aspect ratio compliment the photo well. The vibrant color of the subject and the dull background definitely give the photo "emotion". Same with the depth of field.
Things I would have done different: I would have used the rule of thirds to put the subject to the left side of the photo. I also suggest attempting to decrease the brightness of the branch as the light is slightly distracting.
The title of the photo didn't move me in interpreting how it made me feel. I would have named the photo something like "How the fuck am I supposed to get down from here???". It could just be that I over analyze things and this is just an opinion.
Overall, this is great work! I like photos that project emotion and you clearly accomplished that.
