So. . . Evelyn got a redesign.

And she's not even called Evelyn anymore I-

"Eve" Has been an oc's of mine that I had for awhile now, ever since 2018 or 2019 I believe. Before I wanted her design to just be very simplistic and another ordinary ghost/siren to fit in with my other Halloween characters. I was satisfied with her look for awhile... until I redesigned my characters again in early 2020 since I wasn't happy with how the other oc's looked. Everyone was pretty much done but "Eve" and at first I was stumped at what to add until I realized she could have some chains on her to look a little creepy and have something else to her. Again, I was alright with this design and it even got a positive response from me asking around. . so I kept moving on with my other oc's.

It was finally the time to put my oc's in a big old chart so I can see there heights and if they blended together nicely. Yeah she kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. I was starting to be frustrated with her design and wanted to fix it, but I was already a little busy so I just left the design alone and told myself I would pick it up on another day. That day turned into a couple months.

I was away from my digital materials for a little bit so I was just playing with some ideas on paper, and thought about changing her body shape but nothing too drastic. So I gave her levitating hands. I didn't really have any other characters who were built like that, so I gave it try. And she looked cool! But there was still so much I needed to do for her because I still thought something was off. But this time It took me 2 weeks to remember her design again.

While I was taking a break from commission's a day or two ago , I had worked on some villain oc's and had to look at other oc's for a reference so it looked like they belonged in the same world. I came across " Eve " again and I remembered that I needed to redesign her. I was trying to thing of ways to make her design more stand out, but not too much. . .I kept thinking for a bit up until I just thought about Mummies, and how cool it would be to mix the idea of ghost and mummy together. Plus I had been watching some Dark stalkers videos/game-play and got hugely inspired by Anakaris and how they designed characters for the series in general. It took a while but I finally got her designed finished and was satisfied. Oh and her name changed as well. I still think Evelyn is a very pretty name though.

Her personality didn't change much at all! She's still as much as a goofy, cheerful, drama-queen as she has always been.
