I'm thinking about entering the Okami contest, just for fun, heh. This is an attempt at drawing a human Amaterasu. I may change her look for the final.This is also my first piece in which I vectored my lineart. As you can tell, it needs some work
; I'm pretty pleased with the result though. So how's this look for Ama? What do you think?

u're lineart looks fine... but i think she needs more pizazz... no not pizzas lol. maybe some shades, a hat, some bling..... and BAM! nah jk. good job once again! i could never become like u oh-great-artist

okami was a kick ass game.
i know as a non-artist my opinion doesn't matter but i think you should put some red in her hair or something to symbolize the flames that are usually around her back. i guess you could put flames on the clothes/torso but i think it would look so much cooler if you represented the flames with her hair--and instead of making her hair all straight and neat and groomed (like in your representation) you could make her hair have the wild spontaneity (spelling?) and energy of fire. you could make the hair much longer also (like almost the length of her entire body with hair going EVERYWHERE) and it would contrast the calm, disciplined look and feel of the rest of her body. that's just my opinion. like i said, i'm a non-artist, but i like to think i have a creative imagination.
