Let's face it: Annette was awesome. One of my favorite Annette movies I watched as a kid were the double-bill "The MisAdventures of Merlin Jones" and "The Monkey's Uncle" on the Disney Channel - back when they had GASP! classic Disney movies on there. She was always a class act and had a regality that 50's stars have in spades. Thanks, Annette, for everything.Just so you know, I did this under heavy doses of Dayquill as my kids shared with me one of their colds. If the drawing's not up to snuff, let me know and I'll fix it.

Ripped off from those excellent Disney poster art from the Ron Miller classics (My personal favorite, which is framed and hangs in my place, is Lt. Robin Crusoe, USN). Spot on caricatures but in a "realistic/cartoony" style. Very simple on plain, white backgrounds. Ashamed to say I don't know the artist's name, but I owe him a debt of thanks.

Sad to say, rarely do I plan things out. I originally wanted a plain, white background on this, but I couldn't direct your eye anywhere. It's always stuff that you try on a whim that finally works out. Although this is fun as there's no "art director" looking over your shoulder putting in their "two cents/thought to sound smart/last-ditch effort to save job" comments.
