Chapter 1 - 100 BC
The light was so blinding and my whole body burned. The clothes I was wearing felt like thorns against my tender skin. Finally my eyes started to adjust and a figure came into view.
He was a tall and fit male, his icy blue eyes were piercing, and his dirty blonde hair perfectly framed his face. I have no memory of anything before this but I knew this man. I hadn't even been lifted off my feet and I knew he was taller and brawnier than me. However I don't recall what I look like or how I know that.
"Zorro, please rise to your feet," his voice was bold and assertive, it caused me to hesitate to grab his hand when he held it out.
I dusted myself off, the toga and tunic I wore no longer clawed at my flesh, "Um, care if I-"
"Ask? Of course not. Though I know what you are going to say, because I did the same thing," he gave me a homely smile, "I am Belial. You are my younger brother, Zorro. We are currently in Rome, it is the year 100 BC."
I froze for a moment, "Belial," I muttered the name to myself. "I'm so lost, why do I have no memory of anything before a few seconds ago? How do I know you are my brother?"
Belial gave a soft chuckle and gestured me to follow him, he seemed to be heading towards a town in the distance, "Because angels created less than a few hours apart are brothers. We aren't like humans either, we don't have a..." he paused for a moment in thought, "an infant cycle. This is how we are and how we stay." He turned to me with an excited look on his face. "I'm no good at it but watch this," he stopped walking and started to stare off. His eyes started to white over, his dirty blonde hair grew in long platinum blonde, and two gorgeous white wings ripped from his shoulders. Though it didn't last long before he changed back. "It's feels amazing to be like that, but we can't let humans see us looking like angels," he held his finger to his lips as a shush.
"Heh, looks like you figured out as much as you could before I showed up," I retorted at him and started to continue walking towards the city. "I don't get it, isn't there a heaven or something we should be in?"
Belial's eyebrows furrowed as he walked up next to me, "Yes.. I think so.. however it's like hell.. with 6 or 7 layers I believe. It's better we stay in the over world anyways." He shot me a cheeky smile as we made way to the town. It made me question what was going to happen next.

Belial's POV
We finally made it to town, I had been spying on this place ever since I caught sight of it. The archangel who came down when I rose was the one who told me that this where we should stay. Apparently my brother and I were suppose to keep demons out of here, or at least keep them in check. That was the least of my worries right now though. I just wished to explore and learn this new world. It was like a book sat in front of me, you couldn't tell me not to read it.
"Stay close to me for now, I have some explaining for you," I spoke to my little brother. He was tall and fit, however he was slightly shorter and leaner than me. His hair was scruffy and the softest of blondes, I'm sure human women would be all over him. His eyes were like an early sunset, filled with light blues and purples. He just looked so innocent and approachable. I on the other hand looked more tough and well, less approachable. I suppose not everyone can be perfect.
The town was bustling with people; food markets and trinket shops filled the square. People turned to us with looks of disbelief. It wasn't till now I had realized how clean and untouched we looked. They were all in dirt and rags while we must have looked like low class royalty.
Zorro's eyes kept drifting person to person before he pulled off his tunic and handed it to a woman and child. He smiled and accepted their thanks before catching up to me. "Belial a lot of these people are so poor, we have to help," he whimpered at me.
"The clothes off our backs are the only things we can give, brother. We have nothing either. We need to settle down and figure ourselves out before we can do anything for them," I huffed a bit. My hand then drifted to my neck as I rubbed it unsurely. "Even then, their wealth is not our problem, demons are."
Zorro glared at me for a moment, "Demons? I was not told they were our problem."
"Well they are. I was going to tell you once we had settled down."
"Oh and if we had been attacked? How would you break the news to me then?" He snorted at me.
"That is a different story Zorro. This isn't something we need to fight about right now. Our job is to chase out some of the demons and keep the other ones in check. The chances of them attacking us right now is low. They don't know if we are a threat or not, because even we don't know that."
Zorro glared at me, "Fine! Look a shack! Right here for us," He flung the door open, only to expose a woman making food. "Oh.." he slowly shut the door, "Fine what's the plan?"
"We work the fields for a while, we get the money to live somewhere," I looked at the soft faced angel, "We make relations."

Zorro's POV
"How long will this take?" I faced my brother, "How long before we deal with these demons."
"Always questioning," a smile creeped back onto his face, "Maybe a couple months before we can get a shack, probably a month before he we start looking into these demons." The smile on his face told me how much thrill he had for the chase. I could almost sense he was going to make a careless mistake at some point.
