The thin red line between sanity and insanity.Thank you to Terrence Malick for the quote, and the Solomon islands for inspiring me to draw them.
The quote is from the character Private Witt (Jim Caviezel)
Then last scenes of the movie are engraved into my memory.
The sapling palm tree nestled next to a rock in the sunset with the other islands in the distance.

Very nice artwork. The rock was actually Private Witt's helmet. Near the end they buried him and stuck his gun in the ground and put his helmet on it with his dog tags. It was near a river too. Don't feel bad, I thought it was a rock too until I took a closer look.
