Very cool stuff! I wouldn't draw it exactly the same way, but you do a great job in experimenting with longer plumulaceous feathers (the thigh-based remiges above, the multi-parted tail fan on your Utahraptor). Thumbs up!

Thanks! The thigh remiges are just speculative, and part of the wing leg structure. We donΒ΄t know exactly how much they extended along the legs (or even if non basal dromaeosaurs had wing legs, but I think is quite safe to assume they did, even in a vestigial form, and specially small animals like Velociraptor who had a great need for insulation, hence the thick plumage). Also, I think they look interesting. ...
