hehe mermaids

So it's been a hot second since I've drawn these guys. Well, sort of. I've drawn them. I just haven't ended up posting any of it. Also, if I had a nickel for every time I've drawn a trans girl as a mermaid, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but kinda coincidental I've done it 2 years in a row for Mermay now. Anyway, I really like the poses on this one. They're just so fluid. And the left character's face and hair... I just really like them. Honestly, coloring hair is a major love in my life right now. Their actual designs are just okay, I think. Maybe a little plain. But I like this drawing a lot too. And damn it, I just remembered right now while posting this that I meant to give her webbed fingers with a bit of that pink color gradient on her hands. Whoops too late now, so guess I'm recycling that idea for my next mermaid drawing. Also, I couldn't be bothered to do another background, even if it was just a couple rocks or something.
