Been thinking about Malefor before he became the dark master. How can someone go from a hero to his people, Have literal statues built around his herorism, to ultimately betraying them?Wanted to play around with different designs for him as well as my own head-canon for his history.

From what I remember, Jared Pullen, the TLoS concept artist, said that the statues were more of a depiction of Maleforβs future. Basically they built them believing he would become a being of greatness when he got older.
