They soon came across a new town. Yukito wasn't allowed to leave the town he lived in. Because his mother was afraid that he migh get hurt or lost. So this was amazing to him. He had grown up in his town and wasn't aloud to leave it. Seeing the open world and new towns and cities exited him. As they walked into Viridian City they noticed that this city had a mart, Pokemon centre and a gym.
"Wow" said Yukito excitedly "they have so much more then we have!"
"Yes" said Atsuko looking towards the mart. "Do you think they sell Pokeballs? I really need some"
"Yeah me too, but I think I'm gunna keep this one aside." Said Yukito putting the ball on one of the inside pockets of his jacket. "Just because… I really want my first Pokemon to be caught with this Pokeball!" So they headed over to the mart getting their money out. As they walked in the spotted a bald head just below the counter and then a thud, a voice came from below the counter "ouch." They walked over and a man was kneeling there.
"Oh sorry didn't hear you come in." He stood up and brushed himself down. He was a very tall man wearing a white shirt that was tucked into his black trousers. The man started playing with his braces holding his trousers up and said "So, what can I get for you?" Yukito looked round the mart. It was very small and the floor, walls and roof were all covered in blue tiles. There wasn't much on the shelves and the mart was deserted.
"Umm how many Pokeballs do you have in stalk?" asked Atsuko nervously, thinking the same as Yukito did: did they have any at all. Judging by the empty shelves they didn't think much.
"I have twenty at the moment, but next week I have an order for fifty more" the man said beaming at them.
"Oh that's great" Yukito said "we'll take the lot. Oh and throw in a couple of potions too please!" Yukito had been saving and saving since he was very young so he could buy supplies! They paid for their items and left the store.

Yukito looked around the small town. Acting like a barrier trees lined the outskirts of the town. Small little houses were darted round the town like someone had just thrown a handful of houses onto the town. He spotted the Pokemon gym. If he could battle and defeat the gym leader, Yukito would earn his first badge and will be one step closer to getting to the Pokemon league. However so far he only had Bulbasaur, and even with the close bond they had, one grass pokemon against a couple of ground Pokemon isn't a winning battle. Atsuko had the upper hand with her first Pokemon. Although her Squirtle only had learnt one water type move, she still had a better chance.
"Ok" said Yukito "before we challenge the gym leader, we better go into the Viridian forest to catch some Pokemon." Atsuko agreed and they walked past the gym and out into the forest.
