Talim (Alternate Costume) from Soul Calibur IV

Talim is my all time favorite character from the SoulCal series. I just love her fighting style, even if she isn't a very strong character.

Construction Details:

Wig: I styled a white parted wig buy pulling the pig tails up higher, and adding braided extensions. I cut and styled bangs into the wig. Then I added the gold cuff details and puffs for the ears.

Tonfas: These weapons were created out of a piece of plywood cut to shape and a dowel rod. I used a mouse sander to give them an edge and to smooth them out. Acrylic paints were used to create the swirling pattern.

Paws: The kitty paws (hands and shoes) were made out of fleece stuffed with polyfill. The gloves were made out of cotton, and the paw was sewn on top. The shoes were built ontop of a cheap pair of crocks.

Armor: The armor pieces were created out of wonderflex and model magic. They were smoothed out with modge podge and primer and then painted with gold and teal paints.

Outfit: The outfit was created with hand drafted patterns, out of a polyester blend fabric. Cream details were added with fabric paint. The belt and collar were made with vinyls and detailed with gold paint.

Misc: The misc items like clover collar, and kitty paw pouch were made out of craft foam and model magic.
