This is maybe 3 years old.I've never been one for the flattering self portrait.
I figure people start off with the basic human template, and then their specific features and oddities are what make them "beautiful". This is why I am against "beautifying" portraits. By this I mean color enhancing or smoothing out the skin or whatever. Sure it's interesting, but what can be more interesting then the human face on it's own? Who wants to look like the ideal, anyway?

yes yes`~ one has started off with that` remembers having to do all that back in visual art class been abit since i've drawn myself. mostly when i see myself all the time online and so on in endless pictures of how i look with my visual kei band ^^ haha but ack to your drawing its very lovely pice of art and a great job at it as well` ~ @};-
