Still, better Freckles than Lopez 2.0. He would have had no problem killing his former masters.
Can't help but feel bad for the second Lopez. Caboose treated his robot with kindness and love. Sarge and Red Team treated their robot(s) like shit.

I wonder if Sarge got better at making a Robot with intelligence or simply more cruel to his soldiers? Lopez 1 took weeks before he started hating his "daddy"

Lopez 1 switched allegiances because Sarge didn't know who he was trying to run over. The robot was spray painted blue.
Afterwards, Lopez realized just how dumb his former human allies were.
You know what would have helped both of the Lopez robots? If someone could understand what they were saying!
In one of the deleted scenes for Season 7, Lopez suggested making him an english speech unit, but Sarge didn't have a clue what he was saying and made up shit.
As for 2.0, the first Lopez revealed to his successor every bit of stupidity his creators were capable of.
Ironically, the first Lopez and Sarge got along better before the robot was able to speak.

yeah, originally its was just an accident with the hardware but sarge NEVER fixed that and seems to have forgotten how to build a bot in english by now

In Sarge's defence, after Lopez started speaking spanish, they asked if they could repair his speech unit and I think Lopez said that they couldn't.
