Well I initially thought that the kid was some potential new tenant's child but I've had to reassess because as others have pointed out that's the landlady's kid. One possibility that comes to mind is that since Candi was withholding rent until her door got fixed the landlady had her forced out of her apartment for a while so that they could go through Candi's possessions and "repo" some of it to make up the rent. The kid could just be acting as a lookout in this case. If true it would still be lawyer time but it would also be officer time as well! Whatever the case is I'm looking forward to the next part!

Hee, happy to be! You were one of the first fantasy/sci-fi artists whose work I laid eyes on when I first started doing this weird Internet thang. ^_^ Happy to see you've kept it up, and to share space with ye'! I think what I'm noticing now is that you've gotten a really good hang of using line thicknesses, even with very tight detail, to provide both depth and a realistic look to your characters (this series of pics included). Not to say you weren't good at it before, but you're even better at it now. ^_^

Tips? Umm...I am not very good at layouts but I know you have to use borders between panels and try to make the characters face the same directions as they were in previous panels so the viewer is not confused.
