- PICK A CHARACTERS & DRAW WHAT THEY WOULD LOOK LIKE AFTER 10 YEARS-

My Second Entry Into A NAFA Competition... Hopefully It'll Be Just As Successful As My Last Entry - Which Thanks To All Of You Has Reached 1,144 Full-Views. This Is Massive For Me, As It Equates To Pretty Much 73% Of My Total Pageviews. Wow...

Anyway, As Stated Above The Idea Of The Comp Was To Pick A Character And Draw Him/Her 10 Years Older... As I Pondered What The World of Naruto Would Be Like 10 Years Later (This Was Just Before Or Around The Time The 2nd Stage Of The Manga Was Released) I Realized That A Lot Would Probably Not Change, So I Drew This Pic Of The Older Characters In An Old, Familiar Situation...

At First It May Not Seem Like Much As Changed, But There Are Differences. I Wanted A Realistic Image Of What Clothes Naruto And Sakura Would Be Wearing, And Judging From The Manga, It Doesn't Seem Like Their Style Will Change Terribly Much Anyway. Still, I Decided That Naruto Would Probably Never Get Into The Traditional Dark Green Flak Jacket Most Konoha Chuunin And Jounins, So I Turned His Jacket Into A Vest Type Thing With A Kakashi-Type T-Shirt Underneath. His Hair Also Has Touches Of Kakashi In It Too, Which Got Me Thinking After Finishing And Looking At Why I Put These Unintentional Touches In It.

Sakura Was - I Dunno, Hard To Expand Upon. In The End I Just Stylised The Shirt A Bit More (It Has An Angled Bottom On It, Not That It's Easy To See in The Pic - But The Thought's There. She Also Has Some Of Her Stomach Showing, I'm Just Not Sure Whether I Did That Or It's An Idea Pulled From The Manga - Can't Check Now Anyways...

Anyways... I'm Quite Happy With the Pic... I Like The Effect It Has Having Different Coloured Lines Instead Of My Traditional Solid Black Ones. This Is A Much Warmer Feeling Pic - And That's Something Which I Haven't Said Since My Studio Art And Grahic Communication Exams.

As Always, I Would Greatly Appreciate Any Comments Made... Even If You Only Say "Wow"... My Pics Get Lonely Without Comments.
